Need a new whip, B.

On the road to 100 blogs....

So, how do I spark up the conversation with my parents that i'm moving to a new state?

Who knows. I have to do it. Stop being lazy and move already. Nothing really is holding me back.

Except the whole car thing.

But BF does it and he has no car. He takes 2 buses to work everyday.

I had a dream that I was at work and we were about to close, and I was trying to get people out. But no one would leave. No matter how many times I locked the door. The people just kept coming in. Strange I know.
And even in my dream I was stressed out.

FAIL. Robbery Edition

Let this be known, when trying to rob someone, especially in a store with numerous people around, you must pose a threat. If you lay down a note, and a plastic shopping bag and pretend you have a gun....what do you think is gonna happen. Let the story begin....
I'm at the register ringing people up, about an hour before close, when a man approaches my register. He looks no different than the other scraggly men who come in here and ask for free cups of water all the time. He comes to the register lays down a note that says: This is a robbery. Put all the money in the registers and safe in the bag. Dont be a hero. (mad bold right, dont be a hero?) I'm like really? okay. I cant open the register. He's just like open the register. We say this like 3 or 4 times. Then i'm like okay he wont go away. Show me your gun. Just cooperate. Show me. Just open the register. I cant just give you the money, your on camera, i need to see a weapon. Just give me the money. There are still people in the store, unaware of this whole situation . You want me to open the safe? Yes. I go to the safe and put in the duress code. Go back to the register and take the money out, im holding it in my hand like a waiter holds a tray. Then G comes over and is like, what is going on? She looks at the note takes the money and shoves it back in the drawer. At which point attention is being drawn to the situation and the man leaves. She said the same thing I said, show me a gun. I'm not tryna be a hero, im just not retarded. So then the alarm people call and I tell them someone tried to rob us, and they dispatch the police, alot of them showed up. There nice, everyone keeps asking am I okay. I'm fine, at first I was a little tense because that situation could've went in so many different situations. The detective who came, was just telling me how smart we were because banks have been robbed off of less.
I dont really know what made me react like that. But i'm glad I did. I do take pride in being a person who isnt scared of alot of things.

Picked the wrong store sir. you FAIL.

Picking Cotton

Currently on 60 Minutes, is a story about Ronald Cotton, a man whose was locked up for 11 years because a woman picked him out of a lineup as the man who raped her. Yadda yadda yadda this happens all the time, right? Yeah. However, to listen to this lady talk about it is disgusting, yay i'm sorry your a rape victim and i'm your a survivor. She was all like "I made sure the while he was raping me I remebered things about him, did he have a accent? any tattoos? Hair? " In my mind i'd be formulating a way to get to escape and worry about other things later. Because honestly, if someone isnt living such a great life, jail isnt a horrible place, you get three meals a day, phone calls, you can workout, apparently in some jails they have cable. (thank you parys).

Avirex? Well it was like 15 years ago, so i GUESS....

But he just forgave her. I guess that he's had so much time to think about it, that he had no resentment. I think its beautiful to have a large portion of his life taken away for something he didnt do, and not want to strangle this woman, when all she did was ask for forgiveness?

At least buy him dinner. Really.

So of course, now they go and do seminars and things. But I feel like all he wants to do is live his life. He's just happy to have it back. He doesnt need to publicity. I think its her that keeps pulling him out of the woodwork to make appearances. Because the special showed that he worked in a factory, there was no mention of her having a job, so she must be living off the proceeds. The guy who really did it is on the left.

I guess they both look alike, if by alike you mean black, and male.

Its not that the court system doesnt make mistakes and im not saying they dont, i'm made about the way they went about presenting this.

Just let them have their lives back. or his.

Oh yeah, so they she wrote a book....
Mad appropriate on so many levels.

Oh Mickey you so fine!

That is like the best google image ever.

In taking these consecutive days off, I made no plans and am extremely bored. I could go to Brooklyn....(like its up the street) but do I have the endurance to sit on a bus for 4 hours. HMMMMM, let me see, let me see, I still need an oil change.

Happy Birthday nikola tesla! His name is almost like one of those word scrambles. He also kinda looks like Hitler

.
Or at least a non-hair thinning cousin.

Happy 30th Birthday...

To everyone's old and faithful trusted companion, the walkman! Once, a hip staple, now just a dusty memory in the back our closets or hiding in the basement. I used to buy one every week, it was only 10 dollars, which is why I had to get a new one every week.
Finally I was able to afford a portable cd player, which took 4 AA batteries and didnt have anti skip, so when I would listen to it on the bus, I could never hear anything. lol.
The best one was the sport one, it was yellow, with the yellow in ear headphones.

Why is Diana dirty? Does that mean she's a hoe?

Another day has gone, I'm still all alone, How could this be,
You're not
here with me, You never said goodbye, Someone tell me why,
Did you have to go,
And leave my world so cold

Its been a week since MJ died, it's still kinda sad. All i've been listening to lately is his music, its pretty amazing.

Hold on...

I did NOT know that Kenny Ortega was choreographing MJ's tour. The same Kenny Ortega who is behind all three High School Musicals. He has got to be loaded. He got to be talented, MJ wouldnt of put up with anything less. I love HSM. 2 and 3 not so much, music wasnt as good. But the first one was A-mazing.

So, there is kinda this dude who's been tryna talk to me, I can't figure out if he lives in the shelter or what, I dont think so, he has a cell phone and wears different clothes everyday and doesnt smell (like ass). Plus he is mad attractive.

Chillin with the grown and sexy co-workers tomorrow, aka the over 21 crowd.

Fail. Bet Award Edition

Debra Lee and her small mouthed, monotone voiced self was everywhere yapping about how the BET Awards was going to be a tribute to the legacy of Michael Jackson, however they only had three days to put something together. So instead of say...cutting out Souljah Bout (tell 'em) and doing an all star tribute song or something they chopped and screwed the show into last minute bits and previously arranged performances.

First off i'd like the point out that Jamie Foxx was on point! You forget he's funny because lately he's been "blaming it on the goose". Completely dressed up in MJ swag, telling a funny, yet moment appropriate story, moonwalking...YES! Jamie. Get it.

The first fail of the evening...

New Edition including Bobby Brown, singing Jackson 5 songs. OMG. Besides the random on point dance moves, everything else was a negative. Were they even singing? Because all I heard was the background instruments and the occasional note in falsetto. I guess Bobby Brown needed to do some performances to buy pampers for his 1 million kids.

Everything about Keri Hilson bothers me, her look, her voice, her looks...so everything she does is a fail. because she is a lame. After her came Beyonce who is on the U.S. leg of her World Tour and clearly didnt have anytime to create a new performance so she just stripped one from her show. I wouldve loved to see single ladies, and some Sasha Fierce....or even her and Destiny's Child, (with Latoya and Latavia) singing Never Can Say Goodbye or Butterflies or something. THAT wouldve amazed me.

Or Dru Hill, Jodeci groups that I know you took the effort to get together.

Where is Chris Tucker in all this? "Chris, I can get her, I can get the girl"

Souljah Boy, respect your elders and wear a white glove or something...

Jay-Z, can't diss Hov.

Still wondering why Ciara thinks she can sing and why it would be a good idea for her to sing Heal the World...at least pick a up beat song and dance, then we mightve tolerated you butchering MJ's song.

I like comediene Jamie Foxx and not singer. Enough said. He can sing though. I know that Ne-yo offerred to sing an MJ song, he probably called Debra Lee that day. A- Ne-yo, only because you didnt wear your hat.

Pretty Waaaanggs, your pretty Waaaanggss...everyone loves that song. A+ Maxwell, still wondering who's gonna clean up the feathers.

Monica and Keyshia Cole. Smh. C-

Johnny Gill, Trey Songs and Tyrese. YES! YES! on point, they killed the O'jays songs, killed. I want them to release a single. A+++++

*side note, why did Don Cornelius introduce them as the young o'jays like Johnny Gill and Eddie Levert aint the same age?*

For it to of been Aubrey's ahem, Drake's first real life performance, if you cant walk, cancel. BET wouldve just gotten Tevin Campbell to come out and sing Heartbreak Hotel or something.

As soon as Janet walked on the stage, the tears poured down my face. And then they showed a picture of Penny ahem little Janet and Micheal, and then Jaime Foxx and Ne-yo started singing, and you know Jaime Foxx can sang.

Besides Ne-yo, Jaime Foxx, and the O' Jays tribute, pretty much everything else was garbage.
